📋 Description

• Enter, balance, and post all daily cash, ACH, check, and credit card deposits. • Generate and send out customer requests for information including follow-up requests • Review and process Customer files. • Generate and send out customer invoices. • Generate age analysis; review AR aging to ensure compliance. • Follow up with customers regarding open balances, via account statements and payment reminders. • Perform new customer credit checks and establish customer payment terms. • Support month-end and year-end close process. • Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable. • Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information. • Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions, resolving discrepancies.

🎯 Requirements

• BS degree in Accounting/Finance (preferred) • 2+ years corporate accounting experience in a relevant industry • Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures • In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) • Awareness of business trends • Familiarity with financial accounting statements • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process • Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, such as QuickBooks • Advanced MS Excel skills including SUMIF’s and VLOOKUP’s
