📋 Description

• Serve as subject matter expert across GenAI research and development domains (data pipelines, training methodologies, reinforcement learning, multimodal AI, personalization, knowledge representation and retrieval) • Design and optimize data processing workflows for large-scale model training • Implement pre-training, mid-training, and post-training strategies and optimization techniques • Develop RL algorithms for GenAI with applications in decision-making and personalization • Create multimodal systems processing/generating text, image, audio, and video • Design and implement personalization techniques for tailored GenAI experiences • Develop knowledge representation, elicitation, search and retrieval techniques • Lead technical design, development, and scaling of novel algorithms and models from prototype to production • Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate research into products and maintain technological leadership • Monitor and analyze emerging GenAI trends and publish research in conferences and journals

🎯 Requirements

• PhD/MSc degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning (ML), or a related field • 5+ years of experience as an AI researcher with applied research and/or product development • At least 2+ years actively developing Generative AI technologies • Experience developing tools, libraries, and infrastructure for data preprocessing, model training/finetuning, and deployment of LLMs • Strong background in parallel/distributed computing on the cloud • Knowledge of machine learning, deep learning, probability theory and statistics, NLP, computer vision, data wrangling, model evaluation and interpretation • Proficiency in Python and experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP (preferred) • Proven track record of publications in top-tier conferences and journals (preferred) • Professional attributes: problem solving, collaboration and communication, critical thinking, curiosity and continuous learning, emotional intelligence and intellectual humility
