📋 Description

• Serve as the subject matter expert in GenAI research domains: data pipelines, training methodologies, reinforcement learning, multimodal AI, personalization, and knowledge representation/retrieval • Design and optimize data processing workflows for large-scale model training • Implement pre-training, mid-training, and post-training strategies and optimization techniques • Develop reinforcement learning algorithms for GenAI applications in decision-making and personalization • Create multimodal systems that process and generate across text, image, audio, and video modalities • Design and implement personalization to deliver tailored GenAI experiences • Develop techniques for effective knowledge representation, elicitation, search, and retrieval • Play a technical leadership role to take novel algorithms from research prototypes to production-ready systems • Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate research findings into products • Monitor and analyze emerging trends in generative AI and publish research contributions

🎯 Requirements

• PhD/MSc degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning (ML), or a related field • 5+ years of experience as an AI researcher • At least 2+ years actively developing GenAI technologies • Experience developing tools, libraries, and infrastructure for data preprocessing, model training/finetuning, and deployment of LLMs in research and production environments • Strong background in parallel/distributed computing on the cloud • Expertise in machine learning, deep learning, probability theory and statistics, natural language processing, computer vision, data wrangling and preparation, model evaluation and interpretation • Proficiency in Python and experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) • Experience with reinforcement learning, multimodal systems, personalization, and knowledge representation and retrieval • Preferred: experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP • Preferred: proven track record of publications in top-tier conferences and journals • Professional attributes: problem solving; collaboration and communication; critical thinking; curiosity and continuous learning; emotional intelligence and intellectual humility
