📋 Description

• Own end-to-end delivery of OT software projects for European utilities, from contract handover to formal close • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, quality and customer satisfaction • Build and run project plans aligned to contractual commitments, including milestones for delivery, invoicing and resourcing • Manage risks and issues proactively with project-specific mitigation plans • Set and enforce quality standards through regular project reviews • Lead formal project closure, including final reviews, lessons learned and handover to support • Manage budgets, forecasts and financial reporting, including revenue recognition and milestone billing • Control costs and allocate resources to protect margin • Identify change requests and follow-on opportunities and work with sales to pursue them • Lead and mentor multicultural project teams across a matrix organisation • Build relationships with customer sponsors and internal stakeholders • Report progress, risks and decisions to executives and sponsors • Use customer feedback and survey results to improve satisfaction • Help define and embed the European delivery model and governance standards • Remove bottlenecks and share lessons learned across projects • Support pre-sales through proposal, deal and contract reviews focused on scope, risk and commercial terms

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering or a related field • 8+ years managing complex, large-scale projects, ideally software or systems delivery in the power utilities sector • Solid knowledge of at least two of: generation, transmission, distribution • Track record of full P&L accountability for customer projects, including budgets, forecasts, milestone billing and change control • Experience leading multicultural technical teams in a matrix organisation • Confidence working with senior engineers and customer executives; ability to handle conflict calmly and negotiate well • Strong commercial sense and structured problem-solving • Fluent English, spoken and written • Willingness to travel across Europe 25–75% of the time, depending on project phase • Dutch or German; another European language is also valued (nice to have) • Master's degree in a relevant field (nice to have) • PMP, PRINCE2 or IPMA certification (nice to have) • Hands-on experience with EMS, SCADA, ADMS or similar control-room systems (nice to have)
