📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with AspenTech sales teams to lead consultative discovery sessions, craft visionary solutions, and design strategies tailored to customer needs • Lead and execute technical qualification of solutions to a business outcome • Understand Polymers, Specialty Chemicals, and Power Generation markets globally and stay abreast of industry and customer developments • Learn the complete AspenTech product portfolio and apply products to solve customer business challenges • Develop messaging and materials to position AspenTech solutions, adapting for regional or market differences • Accompany Sales Teams in customer meetings and articulate AspenTech's broader vision • Demonstrate AspenTech value to target markets through solution programs • Engage senior customer executives regarding AspenTech's role in digitalization journeys • Develop industry-specific solutions aligned with measurable business value • Provide market input to Product Management Teams to improve solution adoption • Identify and lead sales campaigns to improve market reach, pipeline, and awareness • Train and educate Sales Account Managers and Solution Consultants on customer engagement • Present AspenTech solutions at major global trade shows and events

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in the Polymers, Specialty Chemicals, and Power Generation industries selling software solutions • Engineering Degree preferred • Experience in all aspects of the Polymers, Specialty Chemicals, and Power Generation industries, best practices, and processes • Proficiency in one or several AspenTech solution areas, particularly Advanced Control and Optimization, Asset Performance Management, Data Historian & Fabric, and Engineering • Knowledge of AI/ML solutions and their application in solutions and industry • Strong ability to bridge technology and business, articulating high-level technical solutions and their differentiated value • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills based on stakeholder interactions and data insights • Strong drive to convert opportunities into recognized value for customers • Travel up to 35%
