📋 Description

• developing business within an assigned region and an assigned set of accounts • working with cross-functional teams to formulate client strategies • managing clients and bringing to closure strategic client opportunities • maximizing and increasing the value delivered by AspenTech solutions to clients • selling AspenTech complete software portfolio and implementation services • achieving quarterly and annual sales quota • developing and growing a pipeline of opportunities for AspenTech products within the Process industries • cold calling and prospecting to achieve pipeline goals • managing the day-to-day sales process and coordinating account meetings • providing sales and executive management with account updates and sales forecasts weekly • coordinating and leading multidivisional account teams • developing and maintaining customer relationships at assigned accounts • developing and maintaining good domain knowledge and competitive intelligence of machine learning, Smart manufacturing and IoT

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, Industrial, Production, or Petroleum engineering • Minimum of 5 years software sales experience with a demonstrated track record with multi-year achievement against personal quota • Demonstrated track record in successful direct sales of software solutions • Significant experience leading multimillion dollar sales campaigns • Proficient at establishing and cultivating "C" level consultative relationships • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Professional proficiency in French is required • Personal computer literacy • Experience selling to customers in Oil & Gas, Chemical or other Process industries preferred • Familiarity with process modeling software products and services, APC / real time optimization, asset management, MES and planning and scheduling solutions preferred • Travel is expected 50% of time
