• Perform expert installation and alignment of GNSS/GPS reference antennae and associated receiver/timing hardware at stationary client sites. • Demonstrate proficiency in the proper handling, routing, termination, and testing of LMR400 and similar low-loss coaxial cables in various outdoor and indoor environments. • Execute professional coaxial cable management, including proper grounding, weatherproofing, conduit installation, and sealing of bulkhead entries to ensure longevity and minimal signal degradation. • Read and accurately interpret detailed installation plans, including structural mounting details, grounding schematics, and RF cable diagrams. • Conduct signal integrity checks, using appropriate RF test equipment (e.g., VNA, S-meter) to confirm cable run loss and antenna performance meet stringent specification tolerances. • Coordinate with site supervisors, construction teams, and network engineers to ensure smooth project execution. • Maintain accurate project documentation, including as-built drawings, test results, and inventory logs. • Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, especially when working at heights or in construction zones.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) • 2 to 5 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience • Demonstrated hands-on experience installing, terminating, and testing RF coaxial cabling, specifically LMR400 • Proven experience installing and aligning high-precision GPS/GNSS antennae and reference stations • Strong knowledge of RF theory, grounding techniques, and lightning protection systems for stationary antenna installations • Proficiency with common hand and power tools, as well as specialized test equipment (multimeters, cable testers) • Ability to read blueprints, architectural drawings, and detailed wiring schematics • Certification or training in working at heights, fall protection, and relevant safety protocols (OSHA 10/30 is a plus) • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and the ability to pass background checks required for secure site access.
