📋 Description

• Support the PR function across day-to-day execution including media list building, outreach, press materials, and campaign execution • Research relevant journalists, editors, and outlets in business, tech, and startup media • Maintain and organize media lists in a shared tracker • Help segment lists by topic, beat, and campaign • Send pitches and follow-ups using pre-written messaging and templates • Track outreach activity and journalist responses • Assist in updating press releases, pitch templates, and briefing documents • Light writing support (not strategy creation) • Help coordinate media outreach around product launches and announcements • Support scheduling and logistics for PR campaigns • Maintain simple spreadsheets tracking outreach and coverage • Log responses, opens, and placements

🎯 Requirements

• 0–2 years of experience in PR, communications, journalism, or marketing • Some exposure to media outreach, pitching, or content creation (internship, agency, or in-house) • Strong writing and editing skills • Comfortable working in Google Sheets / Docs and staying highly organized • Interest in startups, tech, or branding • Willingness to learn, take feedback, and execute consistently • Internship or assistant experience at a PR agency (Nice to Have) • Exposure to tech/startup clients (Nice to Have) • Familiarity with tools like Cision, MuckRack, or similar (Nice to Have) • Basic understanding of how journalists and press cycles work (Nice to Have) • Interest in AI, startups, or domain/branding space (Nice to Have)
