📋 Description

• Manage and mentor a combined team of data scientists and solutions engineers, fostering technical excellence and professional growth. • Set project priorities in collaboration with product, customer success, and platform engineering teams. • Oversee analytic and engineering initiatives related to data exploration, model development, quality assurance, and customer-specific implementations. • Ensure that analyses, integrations, and workflows are robust, well-documented, and operationally maintainable. • Drive the design and adoption of reusable frameworks for analytics, model evaluation, and client-facing data solutions. • Maintain alignment with the company’s technical architecture and ensure smooth handoffs between exploratory and production environments. • Lead hiring, performance management, and career development across both data science and solutions engineering disciplines.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in data science, data engineering, or related analytics fields, including 2+ years managing technical teams. • Strong technical grounding in Python, Spark SQL, and modern data architectures. • Experience overseeing both exploratory analytics and production-oriented engineering workflows. • Demonstrated success managing cross-functional, customer-facing, or hybrid research-delivery projects. • Proven ability to guide both scientific rigor and engineering discipline in a single organization. • Excellent communication, planning, and leadership skills for coordinating priorities across diverse stakeholders.
