📋 Description

•Attivo is in search of a dynamic Director of Tax to spearhead the establishment and growth of our new income tax division, enhancing Attivo's suite of accounting and financial services. •Overseeing multiple client engagements, delivering specialized tax advisory and compliance services tailored to the unique needs of early-stage, venture-backed companies. •Collaborating closely with firm leadership, the position will serve our clients and expand our business, influencing the firm's overall success. •The position location is flexible/work from home, with preference given to candidates in the following cities: San Francisco/Bay Area, San Diego/Southern California, New York City, Austin, and Nashville. •Some travel to in-person company events is required, approximately 2-3 weeks out of the year. In-person onboarding training will take place within the first 3 months of employment (locations vary).

🎯 Requirements

•Solid understanding of GAAP, CPA preferred •Advanced Excel •Experience with standard software solutions: QuickBooks Online, Xero, Netsuite, Bill.com, Gusto, Expensify, Carta •Excellent written and verbal communication •Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities •Independent judgment and decision-making •Ability to manage multiple projects/priorities at a time •Professional curiosity & creativity •Passionate desire to learn & for continuous improvement •Proven market facing skills required to develop new business and sustain existing excellent client relationships •Must have visibility and recognition within your industry specialization and in your local market
