📋 Description

• Design and build a new C#/.NET service, including its data model, API contracts, and integrations • Build a reliable React and TypeScript frontend using the established design system and component library • Implement dynamic forms, conditional logic, validation, autosave, and error handling • Make the capability available to internal and public API clients • Develop automated tests across frontend behavior, API validation, permissions, persistence, and integrations • Build observability and failure recovery into the system • Break work into safe, valuable increments and surface risks, dependencies, and trade-offs early • Collaborate with Product and Design to turn evolving requirements into incremental releases • Leave code, patterns, and documentation ready for the permanent team to maintain • Work within an existing platform domain team on greenfield service development for Auror’s retail crime technology product

🎯 Requirements

• Senior full stack engineering capability across backend and frontend • Strong C#/.NET capability strongly preferred • Confident reasoning about APIs, service boundaries, asynchronous workflows, and data flows • Deep React and TypeScript experience • Experience building sophisticated production applications within an established design system and component library • Ability to clarify ambiguous problems, break work into increments, and ship safely within a fixed timeframe • Ability to work with semi-formed requirements and operate autonomously • Automated testing, observability, permissions, and data integrity mindset • Judgement when using AI-assisted engineering tools; ability to explain all shipped code and tests • Ability to onboard quickly, work independently, and communicate technical decisions and trade-offs clearly • Strong alignment with Auror’s Guiding Principles • Australian/New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency, or work authorization in Australia/New Zealand
