📋 Description
• Design scalable AWS architectures for data platforms, ML workloads, and GenAI solutions • Lead implementation and operation of data pipelines, MLOps setups, and GenAI solutions • Ensure security, performance, reliability, and cost efficiency according to AWS Well-Architected principles • Make and document architecture decisions and trade-offs • Build and operate end-to-end ML workflows • Deploy and manage ML models with AWS SageMaker • Build generative AI use cases with AWS Bedrock • Design and build agentic AI solutions, including tool use, orchestration, evaluation, and guardrails • Advise customers on pragmatic and responsible use of GenAI and agentic AI • Act as a trusted technical advisor for customers • Support pre-sales activities and technical workshops • Translate complex technology into clear business value • Mentor junior colleagues • Contribute to and develop internal standards, best practices, and training programs
🎯 Requirements
• 5+ years in Cloud, Data, or ML Engineering — including 2+ years owning end-to-end architectures • Strong hands-on expertise with AWS • Solid experience in Data Engineering and ETL architectures • Practical MLOps experience (model deployment, monitoring, lifecycle) • Excellent Python skills • Strong experience with IaC (Terraform or equivalent) • Business-fluent English • Professional-level German or willingness to reach that level for client work in Austria and Germany • AWS certifications, experience with generative AI projects, pre-sales or technical leadership, and consulting or client-facing project experience are nice-to-haves
