• Collaborate with Product, Development, and DevOps teams to design, develop, and maintain features for our EMR platform built with Ruby on Rails. • Contribute to improving and maintaining our automated testing infrastructure, helping ensure stability, performance, and code quality across the platform. • Participate actively in Agile Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives, contributing ideas and solutions. • Write and maintain clear technical documentation to support ongoing development and knowledge sharing. • Help identify opportunities to improve system performance, developer workflows, and overall product quality. • Report to the Development Team Lead
• At least 5 years of experience developing general web applications. • At least 5 years experience working in Agile development environments. • Strong understanding of SOLID principles, testing practices, and version control (Git). • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication skills and a willingness to share knowledge with teammates. • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. • Nice to Have: Experience working with EMR, healthcare software, or regulated environments. • Experience with full stack Ruby on Rails (including turbo + hotwire). • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices (OpenTofu/Terraform, AWS). • Experience improving automated testing frameworks (rspec, playwright). • Experience working with modern JavaScript frameworks or front-end technologies. • Team lead/leadership experience is an asset.
