📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js • Design and evolve RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs supporting modern web applications • Implement business logic, data models, and service integrations • Build reliable, secure, and scalable backend solutions with a focus on performance and maintainability • Collaborate closely with frontend engineers to deliver seamless end-to-end functionality and contribute to React development when required • Participate in architecture discussions and influence technical direction and engineering decisions • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following engineering best practices • Develop and maintain unit and integration tests • Troubleshoot and resolve complex production and non-production issues • Participate in code reviews and continuously improve engineering quality • Contribute to Agile ceremonies and collaborate with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to deliver business value

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of commercial software engineering experience with a strong focus on backend development • Extensive experience with Node.js in production environments • Strong experience with React and component-based frontend development • Expert knowledge of TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+) • Proven experience designing, developing, and maintaining RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL APIs • Strong understanding of data modeling and experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases • Experience implementing authentication and authorization mechanisms • Strong understanding of backend architecture, scalability, performance optimization, and reliability • Experience writing unit and integration tests for backend services • Solid experience with Git and collaborative development workflows • Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams • Upper-Intermediate (B2) English or higher • Ability to independently own and deliver complex backend features from design to production
