📋 Description
• Remote position as Over-the-Phone Interpreter (OPI) / Video Remote Interpreter (VRI) fluent in Greek and English. • Facilitate real-time communication between clients and Limited English Proficient speakers across industries, primarily healthcare. • Render accurate and complete interpretation while maintaining professional conduct and confidentiality. • Take notes efficiently during calls and demonstrate knowledge of medical terminology. • Participate in internal training, pursue certifications, collaborate with team leaders, and maintain service quality standards.
🎯 Requirements
• Native fluency in Greek; fluent in English. • Minimum of 1 year of professional OPI or VRI experience. • Strong knowledge of medical terminology; legal terminology is a plus. • International healthcare interpretation certifications (e.g., PICSI, ALTA, HIPAA) are an advantage. • High emotional intelligence and cultural sensitivity. • High level of communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention skills.
