📋 Description

• Develop operating strategies and functional concepts for advanced energy systems and electrified powertrain applications • Define system functions, operating modes, and state-machine logic based on system requirements • Specify sensor and actuator requirements • Develop diagnostic, monitoring, fault management, and safe-state concepts • Support functional decomposition, interface definition, and functional architecture development • Ensure requirements traceability and contribute to verification and validation planning • Support functional integration activities • Collaborate with system, software, and testing teams throughout the development lifecycle

🎯 Requirements

• Master's degree or Engineering degree in Systems Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or an equivalent field • Experience in functional development, systems engineering, or control systems development • Knowledge of requirements engineering and specification development • Experience in system and subsystem architecture definition • Strong understanding of functional architecture, functional decomposition, and interface management • Familiarity with verification and validation processes and requirements traceability • Experience with MBSE/SysML methodologies and requirements management tools (DOORS, Polarion, Codebeamer, or equivalent) • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills • Fluency in English within an international engineering environment • Knowledge of Functional Safety (ISO 26262) • Experience with FMEA and HAZOP methodologies • Experience in Fuel Cell, Hydrogen, Battery, or Energy Systems development
