📋 Description

• Own the Salesforce platform architecture: data model, security model, integration architecture, and overall technical health of the org. • Lead technical design and delivery for complex Salesforce features, integrations, and platform enhancements. • Directly manage two Salesforce Engineers; provide technical direction, code review, mentorship, and career development. • Architect and maintain integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systems via Boomi middleware and direct API patterns. • Define and enforce coding standards, design patterns, and release management practices across the Salesforce org. • Lead discovery and requirements analysis sessions with business stakeholders; translate needs into scalable technical specifications. • Evaluate third-party AppExchange solutions and advise on build-vs-buy decisions. • Manage technical debt, governor limit health, and platform security posture including profiles, permission sets, and data sharing rules. • Drive Salesforce release management: assess tri-annual release impact, coordinate testing, and manage opt-in adoption. • Advise on Salesforce roadmap alignment in partnership with the VP, Enterprise Applications and Commercial leadership. • Partner with the Data Architect on Salesforce data governance, master data strategy, and alignment with Axiom's enterprise data model. • Contribute to cross-platform architecture decisions in coordination with the VP, Enterprise Applications and peer platform leads.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of Salesforce engineering experience, including at least 2 years in a lead, architect, or senior individual contributor role. • Expert-level Apex: asynchronous patterns (Batch, Queueable, Future), SOQL optimization, and governor limit management. • Salesforce Platform Developer II required; Application Architect, System Architect, or equivalent credential strongly preferred. • Demonstrated experience designing and governing Salesforce integrations with enterprise systems (Workday, Boomi, or comparable middleware). • Strong understanding of the Salesforce security model, sharing architecture, and data access patterns. • Experience with SFDX, CI/CD pipelines, and version-controlled Salesforce development. • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers. • CPQ or Revenue Cloud experience, a plus. • Excellent communication skills; comfortable in both technical architecture reviews and business stakeholder sessions. • Effectively manages priorities in a fast-paced, interrupt-driven environment. • Background in professional services, legal services, or staffing industries, a plus.
