📋 Description

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into database solutions. • Design and develop logical and physical data models that support business processes and applications. • Create and maintain database schemas, tables, indexes, views, and other database objects. • Design, build and maintain scalable and reliable data structure and harmonized data marts. • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with industry standards and regulations. • Optimize database performance through indexing, query optimization, and other techniques. • Collaborate with software developers, data analysts, and other stakeholders to integrate databases with applications. • Support the design, build, and maintenance of scalable and reliable data pipelines, ETL processes, and data orchestration. • Develop and implement database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans. • Monitor and maintain database systems to ensure high availability and performance. • Stay current with emerging database technologies and best practices. • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver solutions that support business goals. • Partner with Data Management to clarify requirements, coordinate testing, and ensure data is properly governed. • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert on data and data structures.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. • Minimum of 7 years of experience in database design, development, and administration. • Proficiency in database management systems such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar. • Extensive experience in database design, development, and administration. • Deep understanding of database systems, data modeling, and data architecture. • Experience with data warehousing solutions (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake) and ETL tools (e.g., Fivetran, Apache Airflow, MuleSoft). • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark). • Strong understanding of data modeling techniques and tools (e.g., ER/Studio, ERwin, or similar). • Must have experience developing harmonized data models. • Extensive experience with SQL and database programming languages. • Knowledge of database performance tuning and optimization techniques. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
