• Leads a complex and/or high-impact product pod, which includes collaboration with stakeholders, engineering, QA, and analytics • Functions as product owner, maintains well‐groomed backlogs and artifacts; actively manages expectations by communicating statuses and timelines • Defines story maps, author user stories, tasks, and bugs with a customer-centric eye • Provides supervision to a small team, defining tasks aligned with common goals, and fosters the professional development of team members through active discussion, feedback, coaching, and mentorship • Participates in Agile ceremonies, attending daily Scrums, and facilitating backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint review discussions, and sprint demos • Supports other efforts/initiatives as needed • Defines and communicates the pod’s product strategy and ensure alignment with company objectives • Partners with technology, business analysts, and key stakeholders to dissect requirements, understand risks, dependencies, and required resources, and develop/deliver against timelines that account for these • Holds an in-depth understanding of and communicates the impact functional changes may have on the business • Partners with the business to update, document, and train on new business processes as needed • Ensures resolving issues, focused on top priorities and collaboration to effectively influence change • Monitors product performance post-launch, define success metrics, and communicate outcomes and learnings • Champions an experimentation mindset and processes for data-driven decision making • Performs competitive analysis and market research to inform features that support future growth • Maintains and facilitates relationships with existing external vendors
• Any Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience • Professional Product Management certifications preferred but not required (ex. CSM, Agile, PDP, etc.) • Previous experience in a leadership or management role, 8-11 years, which includes experience as a Product Manager and hands-on experience working in a B2C eCommerce environment • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills with a proven ability to translate insights into business value • Experience working with front-end and back-end development teams with an understanding of Headless framework with Microservices based architecture • Experience authoring user stories in support of the Agile development process and prioritizing backlogs and working with cross-functional partners to understand trade-offs • In-depth understanding of A/B testing and optimization best practices • People management experience is a plus • Experience working with SAP Commerce or IBM Sterling is a plus • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment • Excellent project-management skills and attention to detail • Strong analytic skills
