📋 Description

• Support the evolution of accounting controls related to monthly, quarterly and annual close processes, applying a critical perspective to data and systems. • Analyze accounting accounts and associated databases, performing reconciliations across different systems and information sources. • Perform end-to-end cross-checking and validation of information, identifying root causes of discrepancies, process failures and opportunities for improvement. • Develop and maintain automated control, validation and reconciliation routines using tools such as Python and SQL. Work with data environments and legacy systems, including platforms like Databricks, to process and analyze large volumes of information. • Support the preparation of management reports and accounting information for senior management and regulatory bodies, focusing on quality and reliability. • Participate in automation, process transformation and the application of analytics and artificial intelligence in controls and reconciliations. • Maintain interfaces with internal areas (Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Operations, Risk, Technology and Data) to align and integrate information.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Information Systems or related fields. • Applied knowledge of Python and SQL for data manipulation, validation and automation. • Experience or familiarity with multiple systems and data environments. • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and organizational ability. • Good communication skills for interaction with different areas of the Bank. • Experience with Databricks or similar data platforms. • Experience in automation or digital transformation projects. • Knowledge or practical application of artificial intelligence / anomaly detection in control and reconciliation processes. • Previous experience in FP&A, Controllership or Management Information. • Desirable knowledge of accounting routines, internal controls or management reporting, preferably within financial institutions.
