• Deploy, configure, maintain, and support Red Hat OpenShift and Strategy Customer Managed Cloud (CMC) environments. • Troubleshoot, optimize, and perform upgrades, patching, and operational support across cloud and containerized platforms. • Integrate CMC components within OpenShift-based infrastructure and ensure system reliability, performance, and compliance. • Mentor LANL personnel on OpenShift administration, deployment best practices, maintenance, and troubleshooting. • Develop technical documentation and collaborate with project teams, stakeholders, and customer representatives to support project objectives. • Maintain accurate documentation and records related to job functions. • Collaborate with internal departments and external partners, as necessary. • Ensure compliance with all applicable safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements. • Promptly report unsafe conditions, equipment issues, or incidents to management. • Participate in required training sessions and safety briefings. • Perform other duties as assigned to meet operational needs.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Science, Business Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field • Minimum of seven (7) years of directly applicable experience in software development, cloud infrastructure, systems engineering, or a related technical field • Demonstrated hands-on experience deploying, administering, and supporting Red Hat OpenShift environments • Proven experience installing, configuring, and supporting Strategy Customer Managed Cloud (CMC) software • Strong knowledge of containerization technologies, Kubernetes, Linux system administration, and platform operations • Experience mentoring team members and providing technical guidance and knowledge transfer • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
