📋 Description
• Evaluate medical records • Provide clinical and surgical abstraction for complex surgical services • Accurately code diagnostic and procedural information • Consult with medical providers for record clarity • Provide quality assurance for medical records • Compile daily and monthly reports
🎯 Requirements
• 3+ years of Cardiology Complex Coding experience • Certified Professional Coder (CPC) in active status • Recent/consistent coding work history of 3 years or more • Experience in Surgical Cardiology Profee EM coding • Must be currently certified through AAPC or Ahima
