📋 Description

• Manage large and serial claims in the field of technical insurance in Germany and internationally, with a focus on renewable energy • Conduct technical risk assessments as a large-loss claims adjuster • Investigate and assess the causes of loss • Support, coach, and advise claims handlers on technical matters • Act as a point of contact and interface for Underwriting and Product Management • Handle claims below the large-loss threshold in international markets • Coordinate claims handling by Eurapco’s international branches and network partners • Support Claims Management in developing processes and reporting standards for international branches, Eurapco, network partners, and service providers

🎯 Requirements

• Excellent negotiation skills and strong powers of persuasion • Analytical and conceptual thinking • Enjoy working across teams • Self-motivation, strong time-management skills, and flexibility • Comfortable working in agile environments • In-depth knowledge of renewable energy systems and facilities • Industry expertise and an established network in the renewable energy sector • Several years of professional experience with a technical insurer, international insurance broker, or wind turbine manufacturer • Successfully completed technical degree, such as mechanical engineering or electrical engineering • Postgraduate qualification in insurance engineering is preferred • Experience handling claims or managing warranty and guarantee cases with manufacturers • Fluent business English, both written and spoken • Additional foreign-language skills are an advantage • High willingness to travel, including internationally outside Germany
