📋 Description

• Ensure revenue is recognized accurately and in compliance with ASC 606 (Subscription & Contract Revenue) and company policies • Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and reports to support the monthly and quarterly financial close process • Manage deferred revenue schedules, validate billing processes, and ensure alignment between revenue recognition and invoicing • Improve systems and procedures and initiate proposed changes • Identify ways to streamline accounting operations and ways to improve department performance • Understand and adapt to various accounting software platforms and assist with implementation of systems • Maintain extensive knowledge of accounting principles and procedures • Record accounting information in a professional and detailed manner • Develop and enforce AR policies and procedures • Heavy involvement in revenue recognition procedures and AR/billing oversight

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience) • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in accounting/finance • Experience working in B2B SaaS • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail • Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and practices • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills • Experience with Netsuite • Proficiency in MS Excel and other relevant software applications
