📋 Description

• Systematic investigation of process engineering topics in collaboration with students and Münster University of Applied Sciences • Academic supervision and coordination of student research projects, Bachelor's theses, and Master's theses on process engineering topics relevant to the company • Connecting current scientific findings and methods with specific technical challenges at the site • Working on topics including wastewater treatment and AOX treatment, recovery of valuable materials and solvents, alternative solvents, crystallization and synthesis processes, milling and intermediate storage processes, raw material quality and product stability, exhaust gas treatment, and fermentative active pharmaceutical ingredient production • Further development and optimization of existing production processes • Supporting compliance with environmental and emissions requirements • Reducing the volume of waste requiring external disposal • Improving process safety, sterility, and product quality • Coordinating joint projects as the interface between the university and the company

🎯 Requirements

• Completed university degree and doctorate in process engineering, chemical engineering, bioprocess engineering, chemistry, or a comparable field • Experience conducting academic research on process engineering topics • Experience supervising or mentoring students, ideally as part of research and development projects • Strong ability to translate scientific findings into practical technical solutions • Ability to coordinate complex projects at the interface between industry and academia
