📋 Description

• We’re an early-stage startup that’s building a health AI platform to help clinicians make better use of real-time data to reduce preventable complications and save patient lives. • We’re looking for a software engineer with breadth of experience across technical stacks who wants to make an impact in the healthcare space. • Bayesian Health’s mission is to improve patient outcomes by empowering clinicians with the insights they need to make the right decision for the right patient at the point-of-care. • We’re a diverse team of clinicians, engineers, machine learning experts, product designers, and performance improvement leaders committed to enabling smarter, patient-specific care delivery through unlocking the power of data. • We’re funded by top tier tech and biotech investors: Andreessen Horowitz, American Medical Association’s venture arm, Catalio Partners, and LifeForce Capital. • Our company has won many awards; most recent recognitions include: Forbes AI Top 50, World Economic Forum Tech Pioneer, Time Best Inventions, BioTech AI Company of the Year. • Lead the integration of our clinical AI platform and application with our health system clients’ electronic health records (EHR) with cross-functional collaboration. • You’ll play a crucial role in building automation and tooling to reduce integration resources and timeline as we expand our client base. • Help us build the rest of the Forward Deployed team we are investing heavily in, given the importance and impact of these roles as our company grows. • As the technical lead of a client project, you’ll work with the client to understand the best integration strategy, and own the planning and execution of the project end-to-end. • Develop frameworks and tooling to increase efficiency and velocity of client implementations. • Create and execute testing plans to ensure smooth and timely integrations. • Partner with the Director of Engineering to define hiring strategy for future Forward Deployed Software Engineer hires. • Work closely with Client Success, Clinical, Product, and Data Science to drive alignment and deliver impactful technology that saves lives.

🎯 Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or other relevant technical discipline, with 5+ years as a forward deployed engineer. • 4+ years developing and deploying production quality applications for clients (Python preferred) • 4+ years of experience creating and presenting technical design proposals that include technical specifications, implementation and test plans. • Experience using cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, etc) and relational databases (Postgresql, MySQL, etc) in a production environment. • Strong communication and presentation skills • Experience with health data, integration with electronic health records (EHR) systems, and Health IT interoperability standards. • Experience working with enterprise customers, and the agility and responsiveness they require. • Excitement for Bayesian’s mission and being a bar raiser so we can accelerate the pace at which we create value.
