• Communicate effectively with professional clients, ensuring coordination of complex cases and relaying abnormal or intricate results. • Perform critical review of test orders and laboratory reports for accuracy and precision. • Facilitate management of complex cases between various internal teams and external clients • Act as a liaison between professional clients and laboratory teams. • Educate and support professional trainees, including genetic counseling students. • Contribute to new test development, policies, and procedures. • Collaborate on professional manuscripts and presentations related to genetics.
• Education: Master of Science or Master of Arts in Genetic Counseling from an ACGC-accredited program or equivalent. • Experience: Experience (1+ years) in clinical or laboratory genetics preferred. • Certification: Board certified or Board eligible in Genetic Counseling by ABMG or ABGC.
