📋 Description
• Ownership for sourcing, negotiating and contracting for worldwide pharmaceutical congresses • Analyse congress attendance alongside forecasting of future congress attendance • Consult with stakeholders to gather all requirements • Build strong partnerships with Housing Bureau’s, Societies and preferred suppliers • Manage external vendors and suppliers • Monitor and communicate attrition and mitigate cancellation penalties • Participate in site inspections as required • Support the onsite team for larger congress attendance
🎯 Requirements
• Proven sourcing, negotiating and contracting hotel / housing expertise • Communication – listening, written and verbal • Ability to instil confidence in your clients • Proficient in Microsoft office applications • Ability to travel in the UK and Overseas • Experience of planning pharmaceutical and/or congress events • Experience of event management technology
