📋 Description

• Prepare and post general ledger journals in accordance with accounting policies and reporting requirements • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of general ledger balances for assigned entities • Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations • Support timely and accurate month-end and year-end close activities • Manage accruals, prepayments, and other period-end adjustments • Review and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances • Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and unusual ledger movements • Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Project Accounting, Operational Finance, and Shared Services teams • Support preparation of financial statements and management reports • Coordinate with auditors and external stakeholders and provide documentation and analysis • Execute ledger maintenance, account analysis, and financial data validation • Monitor, investigate, and resolve open balance sheet items • Support statutory and management reporting requirements • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting efficiency • Contribute to internal controls, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related discipline • CA Inter preferred • Strong understanding of IFRS and/or local GAAP • Experience working within multinational organizations or Shared Services environments • Experience with ERP financial systems • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills • Experience within service-based, travel, or events industries would be an advantage • Hands-on experience with Indian accounting requirements, including GST, TDS, and FLA filings • Experience utilizing SAP S/4HANA, particularly the FI/CO modules • High level of attention to detail • Ability to communicate effectively with global stakeholders across functions
