The Invasive Species Council of BC (ISCBC) is a registered charity, founded in 2004. The Council operates a wide number of programs in partnership with organizations across BC, including regional committees, industry, community groups, and all levels of government. ISCBC is a dynamic action-oriented organization, helping coordinate and unite a wide variety of concerned stakeholders in the struggle against invasive species in BC and spearheading behavioural change in gardeners, outdoor recreation enthusiasts, Aboriginal groups and both resource industry and horticultural professionals. Our mission is to collaborate and stimulate actions that prevent the spread of invasive species to our communities and the natural environment. ISCBC members come from all over the province, and are united by the common vision to create a province that is free of invasive species that impact the economy, the environment, and ourselves.
