📋 Description

• Uses specialized technical expertise and leadership for Finance Operations Department objectives • Ensures established service levels are maintained and new initiatives executed • Provides specialized subject matter expertise for revenue recognition and accounts receivable • Assists in providing strategic direction and implementing business plans • Acts as a subject matter and systems expert in general and revenue accounting • Proactively resolves complex accounting issues using advanced analytical techniques • Conducts significant research into application of accounting principles

🎯 Requirements

• Post-secondary degree in finance, accounting or a related discipline • 4 – 6 years of related experience, including experience in leading a team • Canadian CPA designation or Payroll leadership professional certification is an asset • Extensive knowledge of accounting principles • Strong knowledge of financial and managerial control systems • Exceptional time management and multi-tasking skills • Advanced communication skills, both written and verbal • Strong business acumen with a results oriented focus • Strong working knowledge of financial systems and software including ERP systems • Excellent analytical ability and strong understanding of analytical concepts
