📋 Description
• Serve as the SDS Subject Matter Expert, responsible for the preparation, authoring, review, and maintenance of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) in compliance with global hazard communication regulations. • Manage regulatory compliance data and SAP reporting activities related to product stewardship. • Ensure new or updated product chemical information is gathered, reviewed, and recorded in appropriate systems to support compliance and reporting needs. • Liaise with the Global and Central Product Stewardship teams and regional partners to ensure ongoing compliance, change management, and support for new product development. • Review product ingredients and bills of materials against REACH SVHC obligations and other Materials of Concern (MOC).
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, Biology, or a related scientific discipline (Master’s degree preferred). • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Regulatory Affairs, Product Stewardship, or EH&S, with a strong focus on hazard communication. • Experience with key regulations in North America and Europe, including: US OSHA 2012 Hazard Communication Standard, US OSHA 1994 Hazard Communication Standard, WHMIS, DSD/DPD, REACH, CLP. • Knowledge of the UN GHS (Globally Harmonized System). • Willingness to travel up to 10% for business purposes.
