📋 Description
• Guide ED admission decisions using MCG or interqual as needed based on insurance criteria. • Review observation patients on the medical floor to determine whether they meet inpatient criteria. • Be available in the ER for any further questions. • Work with local hospitalist + Tele UM if needed. • AM Case Mgmt --> daily review of obs patients + ER as requested. • PM Case Mgmt --> review any new admits + ER as requested.
🎯 Requirements
• Multi-State RN Licensure Required • 3+ Years Case Management Experience in the Inpatient & ED Setting Required • 3+ Years Experience in Interqual and Mcg Required • Must be Qualified to Lead Program Independently
