📋 Description

• Develop and own the overall technical architecture of Bestandsfaktor — the system is used exclusively by the team, so the backend is the largest and most important component • Design core system logic for data, triggers, automation, and routing • Build the platform so it can be rapidly evolved without descending into chaos • Make technical decisions with a strong product focus rather than merely implementing requirements • Work with the founding team to identify which technical levers will have the greatest impact • Lead external developers or freelancers technically and set quality standards • Establish a modern, pragmatic development environment with AI-supported workflows, high velocity, and a clear standard for quality • Create the technical foundation for a system that is scalable, robust, and strategically valuable

• Important: You don’t just want to code — you want to technically co-own a product • Strong skills in architecture, system design, and pragmatic product development • Able to translate complex requirements into clear, elegant technical solutions • Think in systems, not just in features • Work independently, in a structured way, and with a high standard of quality • Enjoy pace, responsibility, and visible impact • Able to balance long-term technical stability with short-term delivery strength • You don’t need a large company around you to perform at a high level • Nice-to-have: experience with platform products, automation systems, or data-driven SaaS solutions • Experience with API-first architectures, integrations, and scalable backend structures • Experience building small, high-performing tech setups • Interest in AI-assisted software development and modern product workflows • Enjoy working in an environment with a lot of freedom and little unnecessary bureaucracy
