• Support the Secondary Market Analyst in fielding pricing questions and troubleshooting pricing issues from production team • Support lock execution, lock extension and relock activities for the production team with the Lock Desk • Provide reporting data for Secondary Market Analyst to identify pricing behavior, track pricing drift and overall capital market economics • Assist in investor relations, guideline review and new product rollout • Work with FP&A team to reconcile capital market events (i.e. PA recon fees, concession requests, etc.) • Serve as the first point of contact for the production team on day-to-day pricing and lock-related questions (e.g., product availability, extension requests, cancel/re-lock questions). • Support lock execution, extensions, and re-lock activities in coordination with the Lock Desk. • Assist with investor relations, guideline reviews, and product rollouts in partnership with Capital Markets and Secondary Market Analysts. • Research and resolve post-closing issues, reconciliation items, and underwriting discrepancies. • Provide reporting and data support to track pricing behaviors and trends, helping analysts monitor pricing drift and market economics. • Partner with FP&A to reconcile post-closing and capital market events (e.g., concession requests, PA recon fees). • Collaborate across departments to ensure accurate, efficient, and compliant processes.
• 1-3 years of experience Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field. • Previous Lock Desk experience or a working knowledge of Mortgage Banking/Secondary Marketing. Concepts, loan programs, guidelines, and pricing preferred • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, with focus in Excel. • Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to multi-task in a challenging environment and handle time related pressure. • Strong follow up skills with ability to analyze situations quickly. • Demonstrated ability to adapt to a rapidly changing federal and state regulatory environment. • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills and ability to influence through collaboration. • Self-motivated, with a high level of personal energy and commitment.
