📋 Description
• As an Agile Quality Assurance person, you will be doing the system study, prepare test cases and execute tests with automated test tools. • Criticize the developments and report bugs to the development team. • Audit browser and device apps for quality. • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applications using various testing techniques including automation, manual, regression, and performance testing. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, product management, and customer support to ensure that software products meet high-quality standards and customer needs. • Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Jenkins, and other open-source automation tools. • Design and maintain test environments, including setting up test data, configuring hardware and software, and maintaining the stability and security of the test environment. • Report and track software defects using bug tracking tools and ensure that defects are resolved in a timely manner. • Analyse and communicate test results and test progress to stakeholders including development teams, product management, and senior leadership. • Continuously improve the testing process by implementing best practices, tools, and techniques to improve test coverage and efficiency. • Participate in the Agile development process including Sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering or related field. • 3+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance. • Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Jenkins, JMeter, and other open-source automation tools. • Familiarity with software development methodologies, including Agile/Scrum and Waterfall. • Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and techniques. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse and interpret complex data. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Experience with version control tools such as Git. • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Ruby is a plus.
