📋 Description

• Own test strategy and execution for assigned product areas covering API, backend, and integration layers • Design and maintain test plans that cover functional, non-functional, and edge-case scenarios • Define and track quality metrics and use data to drive release-readiness decisions • Participate in design and architecture reviews to provide testability and risk input early in the development cycle • Build, extend, and maintain automation frameworks for API and service-level testing • Write clean, production-grade test code in Java or Python • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and enforce quality gates • Own test infrastructure decisions • Actively use GenAI tools in daily testing workflows • Evaluate and adopt AI-assisted testing techniques • Stay current on emerging AI capabilities relevant to SDET practices • Work closely with product, business, and engineering teams • Conduct thorough bug triage and RCA • Mentor junior SDETs and QA engineers on testing best practices.

🎯 Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in software quality engineering • Hands-on expertise in test automation and framework design using Java and/or Python • Strong experience in API and backend testing • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems • Practical experience using GenAI tools in SDET/testing workflows • Strong understanding of test design techniques • Experience with bug tracking, test planning, estimation, and release management processes • Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
