📋 Description

• Identifies, reviews, and interprets third party payments, adjustments, and denials • Initiates corrected claims, appeals and analyzes unresolved third party accounts • Manually and electronically applies insurance payments • Works with the Supervisor, Billing to resolve complex issues • Monitors days in A/R and ensures they are maintained at expected levels • Establishes relationships with third party payor representatives to resolve claims issues • Reviews claim forms for accuracy • Reviews and corrects all claims/charge denials • Evaluates delinquent third party accounts

🎯 Requirements

• High School diploma required • Billing Certification preferred • 1-2 years of experience in billing or related field • Knowledge of basic math and business procedures • Knowledge of third party payor reimbursement and compliance rules • Good verbal and written communication skills • Ability to organize and plan tasks for timely completion
