📋 Description
• Own and execute the month-end close process for crypto activities, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of deliverables. • Support new product launches and commercial initiatives, providing accounting guidance, ensuring system and process readiness. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance automation, data integrity, and reporting capabilities. • Identify and implement process improvements, advancing scalability, efficiency, and automation for all crypto activities. • Maintain and update all month-end policy and procedures. • Support the external audit and play a lead role in the Company’s financial statement audit over crypto activities. • Lead, mentor, and develop the team, fostering accountability, growth, and a culture of operational excellence. • Support ad hoc financial information requests and other special projects.
🎯 Requirements
• BA/BS in Accounting, CPA preferred, Big 4 Preferred • Experience in Big 4 public accounting or fintech/crypto industries is a plus • 5-8 years of progressive experience, preferably with corporate accounting experience • Minimum 2 years of experience in people management within an accounting function • Experience with high-growth early stage companies is highly desired • Proven ability to work in a remote environment and complete tasks independently • Demonstrated experience streamlining processes and accelerating close timelines • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal • Prior experience with Netsuite and ERP system implementations is preferred
