• Assist with data extraction, transformation, and loading to ensure reliable and accurate datasets. • Write, optimise, and troubleshoot SQL queries; work with relational and non-relational databases. • Explore and analyse datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights. • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools such as Excel, Datawind Dashboard, Tableau, or Power BI. • Work closely with analysts, data scientists, and engineers on cross-functional projects. • Contribute to process documentation, data dictionaries, and continuous improvement initiatives.
🎯 Requirements
• Currently studying towards a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field. • Basic knowledge of SQL and experience with at least one database management system (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or MongoDB). • Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Excel, Python (pandas, NumPy), or R. • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. • Excellent communication and teamwork skills. • Detail-oriented, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities. • Preferred: Hands-on experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or Datawind Dashboard). • Preferred: Previous internship, coursework, or project work in data analysis, data engineering, or machine learning. • Preferred: Understanding of ETL processes, data warehousing concepts, or cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
