📋 Description

• Design, build and maintain scalable backend services and APIs supporting KYC verification, identity authentication, and compliance workflows • Lead the architecture and implementation of high-performance distributed systems capable of processing millions of global user verification requests • Build and optimise risk assessment pipelines and case management systems supporting compliance operations • Develop and maintain internal tooling and dashboards using React and TypeScript when needed, with a primary focus on backend engineering • Design and build RESTful APIs and microservices integrating with third-party KYC/AML vendors and internal data sources • Contribute to architecture and technical design decisions focused on backend, data processing, AI integration and security • Improve system reliability, performance, observability and engineering efficiency through automation and best practices • Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code while conducting thoughtful code reviews • Continuously optimise system performance, scalability, throughput and developer experience

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline • 3+ years of professional software development experience with a strong backend focus • Solid backend development experience with Java (Spring Boot), Go, or similar backend technologies • Experience integrating AI/ML models or LLM-powered tools into production systems, including model serving, inference pipelines, or AI-assisted automation workflows • Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices at scale • Strong understanding of relational databases, caching technologies, message queues and distributed system fundamentals • Bilingual English/Mandarin is required to coordinate with overseas partners and stakeholders
