📋 Description
• Act as primary legal counsel for at least two designated product verticals, supporting product development, launch, and ongoing governance • Lead drafting, review, and negotiation of product documentation, user terms, and commercial agreements • Provide business-oriented legal advice on product structuring, innovation, and regulatory considerations across multiple jurisdictions • Collaborate with product managers, business leads, compliance, and risk teams throughout the product lifecycle • Enhance the quality and consistency of legal documentation, ensuring enforceability and alignment with global financial-market best practices • Support global and regional legal projects, including responses to legal and regulatory developments • Contribute to knowledge-sharing and mentorship within the Product Legal team
🎯 Requirements
• Qualified lawyer with strong academic credentials • Admitted in a leading common law or civil law jurisdiction • 6-10 years’ post-qualification experience in financial services, technology, or a top-tier law firm • Focus on margin lending, derivatives, trading, structured products, or fintech/crypto • Demonstrated expertise in drafting and negotiating complex financial or technology product terms and user-facing documentation • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks relevant to digital assets • Experience with ADGM/FSRA, ESMA, FCA, MAS, or equivalent regulators is a strong advantage • Commercial mindset and ability to balance legal risk and business objectives • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English • Additional languages, especially relevant to APAC or Middle East, are a plus • Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure while maintaining attention to detail • Comfortable working across time zones and cultures • Strong collaboration skills • Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to operate independently
