📋 Description

• Execute and manage schema changes and database deployments on AWS RDS (Aurora/MySQL). • Plan, test, and safely deploy database migrations in production environments. • Build CI/CD pipelines for database operations using Jenkins. • Manage production databases: backups, restores, monitoring, availability. • Support replication, HA configurations, and basic performance troubleshooting. • Evaluate deployment risks and ensure data safety before promoting changes. • Collaborate closely with development and DevOps teams on AWS migrations. • Document processes, deployment standards, and recovery procedures.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years working as a DBA or Database Engineer in production environments. • Experience with AWS RDS (Aurora/MySQL) administration. • Proven experience deploying schema changes and handling controlled DB migrations. • Hands-on experience with CI/CD for database operations (Jenkins preferred). • Strong understanding of DevOps/SRE practices in cloud environments. • Ability to assess risks, validate migrations, and avoid unsafe operations. • Strong English communication skills (written and spoken). (MANDATORY)
