📋 Description

• Write complex SQL queries and use data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI • Test Data Lakes, data warehouse/ETL projects, and Big Data projects in on-premises and cloud environments • Use SAS applications and Python programming • Conduct data validations and investigate data quality issues • Apply SDLC, Iterative, Agile, Scrum, and Kanban project delivery methodologies • Use ALM tools including JIRA, TFS (Azure DevOps), and Confluence • Apply data quality fundamentals and data governance concepts • Perform Smoke, Integration, System, and Regression Testing • Frame and tune PL/SQL, PySpark, and SQL queries to cover data scenarios • Track software versions, features, bugs, and validation efforts • Develop and utilize test data sets • Create and execute manual test scripts for software quality and functionality • Create validation documentation using defined methods • Work with application developers to resolve issues and retest applications • Develop test cases and study data for new Clario products • Conduct general testing and testing for Clinical Services development tools • Report testing and review anomalies to the department head • Perform post-production release, regression, and bug-fix testing for Clinical Services • Read and adhere to organizational SOPs and departmental standards • Participate in training, educational workshops, professional societies, and benchmarking activities • Keep informed of regulatory environment and requirements • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required in computer sciences, or equivalent and relevant work experience in a software Testing environment • Around 4 to 6 years of experience in Software Quality Testing • Prior testing experience with pharmaceutical related software, preferred • In-depth understanding of software quality assurance, preferably in a Clinical Data environment • Ability to write SQL queries to conduct data validations and probe quality issues with data • Experience in Project Delivery Methodologies: SDLC, Iterative, Agile, Scrum, Kanban • Knowledge and understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) testing methodology and document management • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) • Experience writing test cases based on product requirements • Experience working closely with development and business teams to communicate problem impacts and understand business requirements • Experience with web-based SaaS platforms, preferred • Knowledge of cloud-based testing, preferred • Knowledge of Python programming, preferred • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including ability to communicate remotely • Ability to make sound judgments • Superior problem-solving skills • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and efficiently
