📋 Description

• Design and implementation of complete ETL/ELT pipelines — from ingestion to consumable data products • Dimensional modeling (star schema / Kimball) for core and gold layers • Active involvement in the migration from Azure Data Factory to Apache Airflow • Building and enhancing dbt models for the Gold layer • Embedding data quality testing, monitoring, and software engineering standards

🎯 Requirements

• Several years of experience as a Senior Data Engineer in an enterprise environment • 3+ years of production experience with Apache Airflow and dbt • Strong knowledge of SQL Server / Azure (ideally Dedicated SQL Pool / Synapse) • Solid experience in ETL, orchestration, monitoring & troubleshooting • Experience with data quality testing (dbt tests, Great Expectations or similar) • Confident use of Git & engineering best practices; initial practical experience with coding agents is a plus • German (min. C1), English fluent
