📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain Ansible automation workflows for system administration, deployments, and configurations • Manage and optimize Linux-based systems for performance, security, and reliability • Install, upgrade, and migrate Linux, Unix, and AIX servers • Develop Ansible playbooks, roles, and modules for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and software deployments • Integrate Ansible automation with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools • Manage enterprise automation environments using Ansible and Puppet • Administer Infoblox and BIND DNS environments • Support Unix/Linux server nodes in VMware, Hyper-V, Microsoft Azure, OpenStack, and Citrix Xen environments • Implement monitoring and alerting solutions • Troubleshoot Linux server, networking, and automation script issues • Maintain documentation of automation processes, configurations, and system architecture • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve automation strategies and operational efficiency • Ensure compliance with security best practices and policies • Provide technical support to US-based clients during United States Eastern Time hours

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years in Unix/Linux server administration • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field • Proficiency in RHEL 6/7/8/9 • Strong experience with Ansible, Terraform, and Puppet, including deployment playbooks • Expertise in Unix/Linux administration across HPUX, IBM AIX, RHEL, Suse, CentOS, Ubuntu, and MacOS • Experience with BIND and Infoblox DNS administration • Networking knowledge including Ethernet configuration, NIC bonding, TCP/IP troubleshooting, and Tcpdump/Wireshark packet analysis • Experience with NTP, NFS, SUDO, and LDAP client administration • Proficiency in SFTP setup and administration • Scripting skills in sh/csh/ksh/bash and automation programming with sed, awk, and Python • Performance tuning experience • Experience deploying Unix/Linux systems in VMware, Hyper-V, Microsoft Azure, OpenStack, and Citrix Xen • Experience with Linux patching • Ability to work during United States Eastern Time, 8 PM–6 AM EST • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment • Strong problem-solving skills and passion for automation • Relevant certifications are a plus • ServiceNow familiarity is preferred • Master’s degree is preferred
