📋 Description

• Design scalable event-driven and transactional architectures in AWS and hybrid environments • Define data modeling strategies in Amazon DynamoDB, ensuring performance, scalability, efficient partitioning and cost optimization • Architect and implement streaming pipelines with Apache Kafka and/or AWS MSK for real-time data ingestion and processing • Integrate Oracle (OLTP) systems with modern cloud platforms using CDC (Change Data Capture) patterns and data replication • Design end-to-end architectures that connect transactional workloads, streaming and analytics • Define event standards, data contracts and governance for distributed architectures • Ensure high availability, fault tolerance and scalability of real-time data pipelines • Collaborate with backend engineering teams to implement patterns such as Event Sourcing and CQRS, when applicable • Optimize latency, throughput and reliability in multi-region distributed systems • Establish best practices for data consistency, idempotency and event reprocessing • Support architectural decisions involving DynamoDB, Kafka/MSK, Oracle and AWS data services • Work closely with security and platform teams to ensure compliance, encryption and security across data flows

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering or solution architecture in distributed and cloud environments • Strong experience designing transactional and event-driven architectures at scale • Expertise in Amazon DynamoDB, including data modeling, access patterns, partitioning and performance/cost optimization • Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and/or AWS MSK, including topic design, event streaming and real-time pipelines • Extensive experience with Oracle (OLTP) systems, including integration, replication and cloud migration patterns • Advanced knowledge of architectural patterns such as Event-Driven Architecture, Event Sourcing and CQRS • Experience with real-time data integration using CDC (Change Data Capture) • Familiarity with AWS (e.g., Lambda, SQS, SNS, S3, API Gateway) to support distributed architectures • Experience defining data contracts, event schemas and data governance in distributed environments • Knowledge of reliability best practices: idempotency, retry patterns, fault tolerance and disaster recovery • Experience with hybrid architectures (on-premises + cloud) and legacy system modernization • Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform or similar) is a plus • AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Data Analytics or AWS Developer) are a plus • Strong communication skills with technical and business teams to translate requirements into architectural solutions
