📋 Description
• Remote position; 7-10+ years of IT infrastructure experience in manufacturing environments • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification is required • Proven experience leading at least one large-scale migration to AWS • Deep hands-on expertise with EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, AWS Backup, and Direct Connect • Experience in architecting complex hybrid-cloud environments, including on-premise to cloud replication, failover patterns, and advanced networking • Direct experience in manufacturing settings with shop floor systems (MES/SCADA) • Preferred: manufacturing data collection systems AC4D/Plant Manager; Radius ERP, eFlow, PrintFlow; FDA 21 CFR Part 11, cGMP; AWS IoT and Bedrock; IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation); Python, Bash
🎯 Requirements
• 7-10+ years of IT infrastructure experience in manufacturing environments • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification is required • Proven experience leading at least one large-scale migration from traditional data center or hosting provider to AWS • Deep, hands-on expertise with core AWS services, including EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, AWS Backup, and Direct Connect • Expertise in architecting complex hybrid-cloud environments, including on-premise to cloud replication, failover patterns, and advanced networking • Direct experience in a manufacturing setting, with a strong understanding of production constraints and shop floor systems (MES/SCADA) • Bonus Points: Direct experience with manufacturing data collection systems like AC4D/Plant Manager and applications like AutoCount • Familiarity with manufacturing-specific ERP systems like Radius and its associated applications (e.g., eFlow, PrintFlow) • Knowledge of the regulatory landscape for food and pharmaceutical packaging, including FDA 21 CFR Part 11 and cGMP • Hands-on experience with AWS IoT services and AWS Bedrock for data analysis • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and scripting languages (Python, Bash)
