📋 Description
• Continually develop and manage a network of industry participants representing buyers and sellers of rebar, aggregates, cement and ready-mix concrete. • Regularly engage with and gather data from market participants to develop proprietary rebar, aggregates, cement and ready-mix concrete price assessments for key regional markets. • Source market sentiment information, react to feedback from clients and company stakeholders, and manage ad-hoc projects that are part of the overall product strategy. • Uncover market trends and developments and synthesize this information to develop proprietary intelligence for use by a variety of market constituents. • Develop high quality written market analysis on a weekly basis and contribute to regular communications of significant market events. • Utilize industry and market knowledge to play a central part in product marketing and sales. • Serve as back-up analyst in related markets during periods of staffing shortages.
🎯 Requirements
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in analyzing, buying or selling construction materials or previous price reporting experience. • Superlative communication, interpersonal, networking and relationship development skills. • Analytical and information gathering skills combined with the ability to develop conclusions on market pricing trends. • A high level of motivation and strong work ethic.
