📋 Description

• Work closely with the product and engineering teams to catch major problems that reduce the quality of the Client’s application. • Test use cases and replicate and report bugs so developers can implement fixes. • Develop, execute, and maintain detailed test cases based on functional and technical specifications. • Determine appropriate test approaches, techniques, and coverage for new features and releases. • Identify, document, and manage defects in a tracking system, ensuring timely resolution. • Perform functional, regression, UI, usability, and exploratory testing. • Analyze test results to identify root causes and defect patterns. • Recommend fixes and quality improvements by reporting findings to development and product teams. • Collaborate with developers and business analysts to clarify requirements and improve test coverage. • Participate in test case reviews and contribute to test strategy improvements. • Guide business users through UAT testing, including test execution and defect triaging.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field. • 3-4 years of experience in manual software testing. • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test case design, and defect lifecycle. • Experience with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail). • Familiarity with SQL for basic database validation. • Good understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies. • Strong analytical and communication skills. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. • Knowledge of basic programming (e.g., Python, JavaScript) is an advantage. • Background in manual software testing, ideally within a customer support or technical support environment. • Experience in both technical support (call center) and QA is strongly preferred, with a good understanding of customer support operations. • Strong communication skills and are comfortable working with cross-functional teams and different stakeholders. • Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to provide clear, constructive feedback to improve quality and performance.
